SRA’s promise of support to smaller firms continues
The SRA continues its promise that it will support smaller firms when it launched the Regulatory Reform programme. Since launching the small firm’s project at the COLP-COFA conference on 26 November, the SRA have created a dedicated section of their website to small firm issues, while the Ethics Guidance helpline added a specific option for small firms. The webpage, which includes a regulatory starter pack, has been positively received, while more than 200 people have used the dedicated support through the Ethics Helpline.
The SRA will also be looking to identify other key projects that are likely to impact on sole practitioners and small firms and begin early engagement to help formulate key proposals. [Courtesy: SRA Update – 27th January 2015]
