Injunction granted in the case of Dixit Shah

The SRA has been granted an injunction against Dixit Shah, also known as Sanjay Shah, prohibiting him from holding himself out as a solicitor or having any involvement with any solicitors firms or entities which are regulated by the SRA in England and Wales. Mr Shah was struck off in 2002 and arrested in September 2009 in relation to a number of fraud offences. At the start of his trial, Mr Shah pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 66 months imprisonment.
