London: 5 July 2022 – Team MT UK with more than 800 teams and over 12,000 walkers from the Legal sector participated in London Legal Walk on Tuesday 28 June 2022, with the intention to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), an independent charity trust that helps people in obtaining free legal advice in London and South East.

The intention of the London Legal Walk is to raise funds for those who do not have access to justice. Legal Advice is not readily available for everyone and now the effects of Covid-19 and the cost-of-living crisis have made it much more difficult for a majority of the UK population to obtain the help they desperately need. Legal Advice Charities have worked tirelessly to support those heavily affected and continue to do so despite the financial losses they have had to endure. With such a tough position, help is needed now more than ever.

In the firm’s third year participation of the Walk, Team MT UK joined with the largest attendance from both offices and walked through the “Parks Route” starting from Carey Street and covering iconic landmarks on the Walk.  Team MT UK has now raised over £800.00 on its donation page including gift aid. To make any further donations, follow the link https://londonlegalsupporttrust.enthuse.com/pf/mt-uk-solicitors The page will remain live until any further instructions from the London Legal Support Trust. The overall total raised by all those who participated is £669,700.00 (and counting!).

A huge thanks to those who participated in the walk from Team MT UK and the 12,000 walkers from different parts of the Legal sector. Team MT UK will continue to take part in these events to play its part for the welfare of the society and in support of frontline free legal advice services under its Corporate Social Responsibility.
