Illegal Working and Civil Penalties

It is an offence under the immigration law to employ such persons who have no right to work or reside in the UK.

Businesses those employ illegal workers can be fined through a civil penalty notice. Fines for employing illegal workers can be as high as £20,000 per worker and it can trigger criminal sanctions. Licensed sponsors can be handed with license revocation.

Team MT UK (Immigration and Human Rights Department) can provide specialist advise to employers on these crucial issues.
