Mrs Kadurugamuwa joined as a Consultant Solicitor. A multi jurisdictional solicitor qualified in the the UK with over 18 years experience in legal practice. She was qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2007. She has been a consultant to several firms of Solicitors in England. She works at the City Office.
She completed her LL.B at the University of Colombo and also qualified to the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Following years of legal practice, she undertook her QLTT at BPP in 2007.
She has an extensive knowledge of Commercial and Residential Conveyancing. She has also been involved in the Landmark Case of Queen Ex-Parte Sivassambu Kanayagam, which declared the UK government’s practice of removing Asylum Seekers while their human rights claim are pending unlawful. She has also represented high network clients and dealt with Probate matters with private clients and entry clearance matters.
She is the founder of “Buddika Kadurugamuwa Foundation” established in 2008. This foundation is a charity for children living in war affected areas of Sri Lanka. She is volunteering at two prominent charities in the United Kingdom.
