TOEIC STUDENTS ALERT!
All those students who were refused by the Home Office (Leave Curtailed and or Possibly Removed) may now get their cases reopened with the Home Office.
The Upper Tribunal of the Immigration & Asylum Chamber has pronounced a decision in which it declared that the SSHD’s evidence “is so incomplete and opaque as to be virtually meaningless” and the ETS’s attitude “is mildly astonishing.”
Thousands of students were accused by the SSHD of obtaining a fraudulent TOEIC certificate or certificates and relying on those to support their applications for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a student.
All those who have been subject of the SSHD’s TOEIC decision must now seek advice to see if their cases can be re-opened.
